Urban Attitude - NYC
An exhibition, a different look on a city called New York on the other side of the Atlantic.
Diversity of a great city
This exhibition, currently shown in Le Ventre de l’Architecte features photomontages of several kinds. It tries and shows how diverse the streets of New-York. The approach consists of pointing out the numerous communities, show people walking side-to-side. To put it differently, it shows several microcosms inhabit the city and live together, accept or ignore each other.
Technique
Pictures of New York are cut, pasted, cropped and modified by computer. Streets, buildings and people enter another dimension.
