The concert takes place in la Bellevilloise, a place in the heart of east-Paris. The 500 m2 building consists of 6 rooms, where people can have a walk, watch an exhibition, a concert, have a meal or simply enjoy a drink on the roof terrace. I’ve hidden my name. To find it, decipher the anagram THE RODEO. A word that takes you to the South of the USA, where the music I adore and love singing was born. A word as homage to the pioneers of folk, blues and country music. When I was a child, I discovered a treasure in my uncle’s attic. Hidden among dusty vinyl and books was a slumbering guitar. It was born in the mythical 1970’s and its precious wood was haunted by the spirit of those golden musical years. I didn’t learn how to play it, the guitar tamed me. Stuck together it became a part of me. I write and compose ballads like fairy tales for grown-ups, fables without a moral. Throughout my lyrics, you’ll meet characters, go9 places and feel different kinds of atmospheres. A moody girl not as tough as she looks, a boy with a love so huge it can only be shared, a lost village that feels like heaven, an ark to survive your past and start all over again.
