Two companies, Paris Canal and Canauxrama offer a large range of tours on smaller boats, where you can either be alone or with a group, notably through the Canal Saint Martin and the Canal Saint Denis. Because it is still worth to see the monuments along the Seine, some of the tours take you also to the Musée d’Orsay and Notre-Dame. But the magic atmosphere of the Canal Saint Martin is incontrovertible.
