Kiosque on the Bitche
Who said that Sunday was a boring day?

Going to the village or city’ kiosk on Sunday used to be a popular tradition. The acoustics of this booth is particularly suitable for unplugged concerts. In that ancient times, where iPod and MP3 did not even exist, that was the way people listened to music

But time went by and kiosks were slowly deserted. So was the kiosk of the Place de la Bitche in the 19th district of Paris. In 2005, however, inhabitants decided to give it another chance. Since then, concerts are regularly held and it’s a great success. Traditional tunes, reggae, electro, rock, choral groups or chanson, all musical styles are allowed on the bitche (to be pronounced beach!). Two non-profit organisations hold these monthly events.

To enjoy your Sunday even more, try the exhaustive range of drinks: punch, sangria, coffee or onion soup… help yourself.
