Cape Verdean Music : Mariana Ramos
The Cape Verdean singer Mariana Ramos, will perform a concert at LE TRITON for the release of her third opus, “Mornador”.
Mariana was born under the sun of Dakar, although her parents were from the island of Sao Vicente in Cape Verde. In this album, she blends her hybrid musical heritage with modern sounds to create a winning sound composed of subtle jazz notes, Brazilian music and African sounds. She continues to carve out a special place in the musical rainbow of Cape Verdean music.
